With a long weekend ahead, there’s no better time to give your home a refresh. Cool prints are the fastest route to a décor facelift and we’ve found the perfect online destination to get your fix. Plus, if you’re into all things pink and green currently, with your phone memorising #plantsonpink, there’s so much you’re going to love from this lifestyle brand…
JUNIQE houses a glorious selection of affordable wall art, home accessories, fashion and stationery. Lea Lange, Co-Founder of the brand, shares her top tips on how to give your home a spring makeover.

The traditional spring tidy up isn’t everyone’s idea of fun but it will make all the difference when it comes to refreshing and re-energising your home. A major clear out and tidy up is also good for the soul and you’ll feel great afterwards! Set a day aside to wash windows, clear dust, move furniture to hoover spots that usually get ignored and rotate the bed mattress.

Spring is a great time to declutter your home, especially if you want to make room for some new spring-themed home accessories. Go through your wardrobes, drawers, cupboards and shelves; if you haven’t worn or used something for over a year, then donate it. I also suggest investing in some storage and putting things away that you don’t want to display – like paperwork.

It might be expensive to re-tile your whole kitchen, but what about the area behind your sink or around the fireplace? I personally love Moroccan-inspired designs, which can add a serious wow factor to your home.

Spring themed artwork will both brighten up your home and satisfy your art cravings – and despite what you might think, it doesn’t have to come with a high price tag. At JUNIQE we like to inspire people to express their own individuality through art, so the choice is all yours. This spring, I am on the hunt for bright, fun artwork like this Lila X Lola avocado print for the kitchen. If you already have lots of prints hanging on the walls, why not invest in some new ones and make a gallery wall as a spring project. Begin in the middle and work outwards, combining different textures and dimensions for your own individual style.

Make a room feel fresher, brighter and lighter by hanging a mirror on the wall. It will naturally reflect light and can even help a small room feel bigger than it really is.

Pretty candles aren’t just for winter and can still help create atmosphere throughout spring and beyond. Go for scented candles that have herb, floral or bright citrus notes.

What says ‘spring’ more than flowers? Put bunches of seasonal flowers, like tulips or daffodils, in vases around the house for an instant and affordable uplift. If flowers aren’t your thing, make a nod to the ‘outdoors inside’ trend and add greenery like eucalyptus sprays around your space for a pared back, modern look. Alternatively, for flowers that will never wilt, try exploring floral and plant themed wall art or cushions adorned with flower designs.

An easy and affordable way to refresh your home (but still pack an impactful punch) is to swap around cushions and bed linen. I have my eye on this Welcome To The Jungle cushion by Amy Sia, which brings to life the jungle interiors trend and the Ferns On Blush Prints hand and bath towel by cafelab, which is perfect if you are loving spring’s hottest colour, millennial pink, like myself. Or, you could make a style statement with a new shower curtain or feature wallpaper. I love this Palm shower curtain by Kirsten Polsinelli, which will definitely make shower time more colourful!
